About Chris Fletcher Guitar/Vocalist
Biography"I have sung and played electric guitar, bass guitar and acoustic guitar in a few originals and covers bands over the years playing literally thousands of gigs too numerous to mention (I did try counting them once when I was 21 and I'd played over 300 gigs up to that point and I haven't stopped performing since and I'm now 46 years of age)
From 2002 I held a long running residency with 'The Living Room' chain of restaurants performing in a duo with a pianist at their Manchester, Liverpool and Chester restaurants on a weekly basis. During this time I performed for various sports stars and teams including many Liverpool FC players and the Manchester United football team which included David Beckham at the time I also played on a monthly basis at The Trafford Centre in Manchester during this time In more recent times I played as a backing guitarist & vocalist with signed artist Sam Beeton During my time working with Sam I performed at many top venues including playing to a crowd of twelve thousand people at the O2 Arena in London. I also performed at The Itunes Festival at The Koko Club in London, The BT Digital Music awards at The Roundhouse in Camden and the V festivals in Stafford and Chelmsford two years running Whilst touring with Sam Beeton I went on an eleven date UK tour with Irish band 'The Script' and also a UK support tour with James Morrison playing to crowds of up to five thousand people a night including playing a gig at The Tower Of London My TV and Radio experience playing alongside Sam Beeton includes a live performance on The Dermot O'Leary show on BBC Radio 2, live performances for a music documentary on channel 4 and a live TV appearance on ITV breakfast show 'This Morning' For the past 15 years I have been performing as a solo acoustic guitar-vocalist performing at private functions and weddings in many top hotel chains and venues around the North-West" Check out our latest articles here. |
