If the weather is good this venue is great for enjoying the grounds during the daytime. There is ample space for wedding musicians to perform outside on the terrace. It is a great venue and as a singer & guitarist myself I found the atmosphere and surroundings suited my style of playing perfectly. This is also a good venue if you are expecting a lot of children to attend, the last time I played here the staff set up garden games for the kids to keep them occupied while the adults mingled on the terrace. I have played here a few times now and can't wait to perform live music here again in 2015

I performed at various wedding venues throughout 2014 and I would just like to share my thoughts on my favourite venues and suppliers that I have worked alongside

There are quite a few different function rooms at the Hilton, all shapes and sizes to suit different types of events, the staff always seem pleasant and having played there a lot I have never had any issues and events have always run smoothly

The Hilton is a nice venue, I have performed at many events here including a Christening, a few wedding drinks receptions and various evening functions

I met a great wedding supplier here at a wedding drinks reception called Ice Cream Dub which is an old VW camper that has been turned into a retro ice cream van, The two ladies running the van were very nice and the guests loved it

If you're lucky you might even bump into Ian Rush

This is one amazing venue, If you are looking for something out of the ordinary this venue stands out on it's own. I've performed here twice now and the staff are always efficient and very friendly. with stunning views looking out over the Menai strait what is there not to like? (Well maybe the price of exclusively hiring the place I guess?)

This wedding venue was the home of poet William Wordsworth, this place has a really intimate atmosphere and it really did feel like I was playing in somebody's front room. I performed 'One day like this' by Elbow as the bride made her entrance. The ceremony took place in a room with a huge bay window with stunning views looking down through the gardens to the lakes below.

Immediately after the ceremony I performed background music for the guests during the drinks reception while the happy couple went off into the grounds to have photos taken. I performed up until it was time for the speeches.

The owners of the building were really friendly and helpful from the moment I arrived and they were more than happy to show me around the venue even allowing me access to their private quarters as they also live at the venue. Their attention to detail and enthusiasm towards the wedding guests throughout the day was second to none and I would highly recommend this venue to anybody looking for a unique wedding in an intimate setting. I hope I get the chance to perform there again one day soon
